We had some very special guests in our studio two weeks ago. Jaap Hoogenhout, John Oeben en Dirk Bukkems & Shirley Noe choose a professional recording with the orchestra as their reward for supporting the jubilee books crowdfunding project at Voordekunst.nl. The arrangements picked from the Metropole Orkest archives seemed to have been tailor-made for each of the soloists. A special day for them, but definately a day to remember for the orchestra as well! Be sure to watch the short video clips shot during the recording session.
