Thanks for the overwhelming response!
“And the Grammy goes to… ‘Sylva’! Snarky Puppy & Metropole Orkest”. That’s what it sounded like at the Grammy livestream on Monday February 15th around 10:00 PM. The orchestra and Friends were watching the livestream together in Hilversum and started cheering, while chief conductor Jules Buckley and the Snarky Puppy’s walked on stage in Los Angelos to accept the Grammy for ‘Best Contemporary Instrumental Album’. The past hours have been pretty overwhelming, we received so many sweet messages from all over the world! We even were trending topic on Twitter in the Netherlands! We’d like to thank everyone for your kind words and support in the past years. We are incredibly proud that this album with Snarky Puppy, which was a great joy to record, is now rewarded with a Grammy. The recording was mainly funded by crowdfunding, so to everyone who was there in Dordrecht: a big thank you! We couldn’t have done this without you!
And of course: thank you Snarky Puppy, for this fantastic collaboration!
