100th Birthday Dolf van der Linden

On June 22nd 2015 Dolf van der Linden would have celebrated his 100th birthday. With the 70-year jubilee of the Metropole Orkest (25 November) in sight we are eager to take the oppurtunity to honour our founder with a special event.

During the event, taking place in the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep in Hilversum, the very first biography of Dolf van der Linden will be presented as part of a festive program. Furthermore, the orchestra conducted by Jan Stulen will play a selection of music from the archives. And we have a side schedule with audio and video from the rich Metropole Orkest archives.
