Maan & Metropole Orkest

Together with Maan, Metropole Orkest will open this year’s edition of the VriendenLoterij ZomerConcerten in Het Concertgebouw. The orchestra has already opened this concert series with Danny Vera and Nick & Simon and will continue this tradition on Saturday 1 July with one of the most successful female singers in the Netherlands. Ticket sales for this concert start on Thursday 9 March.

Since her breakthrough in 2016, when she won The Voice of Holland, Maan has become an integral part of the Dutch music world. She scores hit after hit with songs such as ‘Ze Huilt Maar Ze Lacht’, ‘Nee Is Nee’, ‘Als Ik Je Weer Zie’ and ‘Stiemen’. With ‘Blijven Slaapen’ she won the Edison Pop and the Edison Best Single. She has already shared the stage with the Metropole Orkest and this evening the special collaboration will continue: conducted by Hugh Brunt, well-known hits and songs from Maan’s latest album ‘Leven’ will be played in a spectacular orchestral version.
