On May 29 2024, Anouk and Metropole Orkest will come to the Ziggo Dome together. ‘Deena’ contains Anouk’s most beautiful and intimate songs. A large number of the songs that will be played during ‘Deena’ have never been played live before and have been specially arranged for the orchestra.
You have singers, and you have Anouk. She is a character who has been coloring the Dutch pop world for 25 years. ‘Nobody’s Wife’ set the tone in 1997. The single was on top of the Dutch charts for weeks. It soon became clear that the woman of The Hague can not only deliver explosive rock songs, but can also create small, fragile songs such as ‘Lost’ and ‘Michel’. That change marked the rest of her career. In 2013, Anouk represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest with the stunningly beautiful ‘Birds’. In the following years, Anouk would continue to surprise with special projects.
No fewer than 14 of her records reached first place in the Album Top 100. She also scored fifteen top 10 hits, and effortlessly filled arenas such as the Ziggo Dome and the GelreDome. Anouk’s trophy cabinet is well filled, including eleven Edisons, the Pop Prize, and two MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Dutch Act.
