MEAU & Metropole Orkest

Together with MEAU, Metropole Orkest will open this year’s edition of the VriendenLoterij ZomerConcerten in Het Concertgebouw. The orchestra has already opened this concert series with Danny Vera, Nick & Simon and Maan and will continue this tradition on Monday 1 July with the one and only MEAU.

In September 2021, MEAU released Dat Heb Jij Gedaan. She went triple platinum with this song, and she won gold for her album 22, a week after the album was released. Her warm sounds, dreamy choirs and honest, personal lyrics appeal to both the Dutch audience and other artists. With Racoon she made Dans M’n Ogen Dicht about the dark and light sides of life. With the Metropole Orkest she sings her biggest hits and new songs, such as Terug In M’n Armen and Onbereikbaar.
