The Night of the Film Music

On Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November 2025, the Evening of Film Music will once again present a spectacular series of concerts with the most beautiful film music.

Conducted by Jules Buckley, the Metropole Orkest will once again perform the best and most famous film classics together with the Netherlands Concertkoor in 2025. The Evening of Film Music has quickly developed into one of the largest film music events in Europe. Started in Het Koninklijk Concertgebouw as an ode to film music, The Evening of Film Music has been developed into a multi-day event that moved to the Ziggo Dome in 2019. The program will feature the greatest film composers of all time as well as film composers from the Netherlands. In recent editions, Metropole Orkest has collaborated with artists such as Lebo M (Lion King), Steve Stevens (Top Gun), Anna Lapwood (Interstellar), Lavinia Meijer (Intouchables), Noa Wildschut (Schindler’s List) and Lakshmi ( Lord of the Rings). It is certain that the Evening of Film Music promises to be a special evening again in 2025.
