Herman studied classical Violin with Katy Sebesteyn in Bussels and Tilburg. He studied Jazz Improvisation with Pierre Blanchard in Paris.
His musical heroes are the composers Bach and Bartok, the violinists David Oistrach, Zbigniew Seifert and Pierre Blanchard. He enjoys improvised and world music a lot; Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin and Dave Holland.
Herman likes to work out, to dance and he’s interested in philosophy.
and contribute to educational projects and the preservation of Dutch heritage.
