Jasper Soffers

Jasper started playing the piano when he was 12 years old. After his high school he was admitted to the Conservatory of Rotterdam and had classes from Rob Kreefel and Jan Laurens Hartong. In 1999 he graduated with Cum Laude for accompaniment.

His musical heroes are Herbie Hancock, Toots Thielemans (with him he played several concerts), Jacky Terrasson and the German arranger Claus Ogerman.

Besides music Jasper enjoys photography and to cook. Moreover, he has several old-timers with which he loves to be on the road.
