Stichting Metropole Orkest is respecting the privacy of its website’s visitors and ensures that the personal information you provide is being kept confidential. Personal data is being processed according to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and/or other applicable legislation.
1. Data processing
a. Purposes
Your personal data will be processed by us for engaging and performing activities and/or agreements to provide information, services and/or goods and managing the resulting relationships therefrom, including the performance of activities aimed at increasing our customer data base. Besides we will process personal data if there is legal obligation for that, such as Tax Laws.

Besides we are processing data of persons under 16. Our website and/or services don’t have any intention to gather data about visitors of our website being under 16, unless consent thereto is given by the holder of parental responsibility over the child. However we can’t directly check if a visitor is under 16. So we’d like to advice anyone who is holding parental responsibility over a child to be involved with the online activities of their children, to prevent any data about their children being gathered without consented upon. If you think we might have gathered any personal data of a person under 16 without consent, then please contact us at info@mo.nl and we will remove these data.
c. Automated decision-making
Stichting Metropole Orkest is not taking decisions based on the automated processing of data about any matters which could have substantial consequences for persons. Being meant are decisions taken by software programs or computer systems, while not any human (like an employee of the Stichting Metropole Orkest) is being involved in this decision making process.
d. Retention policy
If you fill in a contact or application form on our websites or send us an e-mail, the data you send us will be saved as long as will be necessary for the complete answering and handling based on the character of the form or the content of your e-mail.
e. Sharing of personal data with third parties
Stichting Metropole Orkest is sharing personal data with several third parties if this necessary for the execution of the agreement and to fulfill possible legal obligations. We will conclude a data processing agreement with companies delivering data processing services for us to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your personal data.Stichting Metropole Orkest will stay responsible for the processing. Besides it can occur that we are providing your personal data to third parties. We will only do this with your explicit consent.
f. Security of personal data
We value the security of your data and we will provide suitable technical and organizational safeguards to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized alteration. Stichting Metropole Orkest has safeguards like the following in place to prevent your personal data:
– TLS (formerly known as SSL): we are transmitting your data through a secured internet connection. You can recognize this by seeing the address in your browser starting with ‘https’ and the padlock in this same line.
– DKIM, SPF and DMARC are three internet standards which we use to prevent you receiving mails, seemingly on our behalf, which are infected with computer viruses, are spam or are being meant to obtain personal (password) data.
– DNSSEC is an extra security (supplementary to DNS) for the conversion of a domain name to the IP-address (server name) which is coupled therewith; this is being provided with a digital signature. You can check this signature automatically. This makes it possible to prevent you being diverted to a false IP-address.
2. Click behavior and visit data
The websites’ general visitor data is being tracked. In particular the IP address of your computer, user name, time of extraction and data that the browser sends are being registered and used for statistical analysis of visits and clicks on the websites. By doing sowe can optimize the operation of our websites. We do try to anonymize these data as much as possible. This data will not be provided to third parties.

Stichting Metropole Orkest offers a newsletter to inform interested parties of news about musical events, services and related matters. Your email address will only be added to our list of subscribers with your explicit permission. Each newsletter contains a link allowing you to unsubscribe. The newsletter’s list of subscribers will not be provided to third parties.
7. Access, correction and right of objection
If you have any relationship with us, you will have the opportunity to access your personal information upon written request.
