We have a side program for observing participants within our Metropole Orkest International Arrangers Workshop 2018.

Location: Muziekcentrum van de Omroep, Hilversum
Observing Participants fee: € 65
Deadline for registration: 10 October 2018
Age restriction: You must be between 19-35 years

You can no longer register as Observing Participant.

In the Arrangers Workshop, eight young arrangers from all over the world have been selected to work with the Metropole Orkest and to write an arrangement for vocal soloist Becca Stevens. The week will be lead by honorary conductor Vince Mendoza.

Metropole Orkest offers music students from Dutch conservatories the possibility to attend the International Arrangers Workshop as an observing participant: a fantastic learning experience.

As an observing participant, you…

  • get to be at all rehearsals during the entire week;
  • get your own set of orchestral scores;
  • get to participate in the masterclasses of Vince Mendoza and the masterclasses writing for strings/rhythm sections/film;
  • get to be at the soundcheck for the concert in LantarenVenster Rotterdam.
